Community
#

I wouldn’t be here without the people who supported me when I was the one starting out: the community members who shared their knowledge, answered my questions, and made me feel like I belonged. Everything I do in community work is a way of passing that forward.

I focus on the people who don’t yet see themselves as belonging in tech: women, immigrants, career changers, and beginners. Because that was me. And because the industry is better when more of us are in it.

Mentoring
#

Through my AWS Community Builder work, I provide individual mentoring to women entering cloud computing, helping people assess where to start, recommending learning paths, and supporting their first steps into the field. My focus is on people who feel like outsiders in tech, because that’s exactly where I started.

If you’d like to invite me to speak at your event, co-organise something, or collaborate on a community initiative, I’d love to hear from you.
